Independent and Dependable....and My Da Jie

After a certain incident, I told myself that I shall be independent as usual, but this time dependable.

Do you think I'm growing? It is the first timesuch thought occur to me.
Dependable. Having people to believe in me and trust that I can be a problem solver in a problematic situation rather than to stand at a corner watching.

Standing at a corner was a solution that I came up with a long time ago which became a behaviour when there is a problem. Because, my helping action was just causing much more problem to the people around me. So, I started to back off.

Right now, I think that is not what it should be.

I should still help. And be better! Help out so that the problem actually get solved!

Afterall, we are a community of people. The world will be a better place for us to help each other rather than say, I shall be independent and solve my own problems and you solve yours..Like where is the interaction?

I kind of relate to Tarzan when he was a child. Haha..

Ok just a thought. I feel like lazing..

Seems like forever since she reply my mail.
Either she is busy, overseas, or taking care of herself and baby..
Or she just decide not to reply me.

Perhaps because I told people that hey! I can talk to my sister through mail and everyone starts mailing her...

But whatever is the case, I'm still waiting for her mail, and another for my new training!

God, I pray that I will have 2 favourable email replies..

I'm reading a book on love languages of children. And I really feel that my love language is touch. Just a comment.

But first, some food!

So, Joshua and I went to Jack's place to eat Ribeye!
Super filling as usual, we've got served by a newbie, I'm guessing is her first day working.
A little nervous, unfamiliar with procedures.

And I was like come on! Give her a chance! (Since I can remember how I was at my first day of work..)

We had one of the normal small size kite, luckily not as mini as the income free kite..If not it will take forever to get it up in the sky.

You do realise that Joshua is the one who is holding the string most of the time.
The truth is, I don't know how to fly a kite.

Pulling the string and releasing it and directing the kite seems like a whole new game for me!

I know..I know. I would regard myself as a newbie when flying. Haha..
But I've learned a lot! Joshua seemed a little stunned by the fact that I can't fly a kite.

I thought we are suppose to just release it and the wind will bring it high up in the sky!
That's it!

No. I was wrong.
See, cause there were so many people flying and so many kites, meaning strings in the air...

Kites can get quite tangled up.

So, that's where directing the kite takes place.

And we headed to Bar..Bar.. to have mushroom burger for dinner. Super FULL!
And had B&J a cookie affair. Just before we slept.

No wonder I'm developing a huge tummy.
