Exams are coming!!

haha, exams are coming, i'm studying and having fun and i just had church prac for tml service. Yup. Kept thinking that some thing bad is gonna happen to Leroy and i kept praying that God will bring him back to me safely in one piece. IS so unsettling and i really cried ok tear..and then when i get a call from leroy and a message! i teared again but this time out of joy. Haha..anyway, i wanna thank Josh for like 'making' me read the bible again..yup. Cause the verses comforted me.

When i read this, i had peace that Leroy is safe. He is safe and I need not worry.

This verse, i put my child photo with cheryl and claris to book mark it in the past. I know the reason for 'book marking' it.
It was to remind me that my life is not my own.
Then with the photo when we were young and to look at myself now..and i will reflect on how far i have come not by my own strength or my direction.
i remembered my intention of bookmarking it.
It teaches me to depend on God rather than my own.
To not follow my ways but God's way.

Anyhow, Isaac is leading worship for tml and he has exams and since he could do all this bearing in mind that his exams are tougher than mine..i agreed to replace Grace once again for this week. So basically, i have been going for prac for 4 weeks straight le and it is supposedly to be during the most hectic time? haha, amazing right? Well, it looks like i actually am able to do this every week one. Is just dependent on your own heart if you want to or not.

And a dream i have last night was not good. Just, don't come true. As for the whole dream, it is a secret.

To Pick Leroy up from the airport. Haven seen him in days..7th may 2a.m.
And i hope that RedBull will reply me soon and let me continue to work for them cause i really need a job to pay for my trips to Church camp in Malaysia, Yunnan mission Trip and perhaps a holiday in Thailand with beloved Miko who has been wanting to go since..year 1 if i remember correctly. Right? So..WHO WANNA GO THAILAND FOR HOLIDAY?!!! Please tell us!!!

Lastly, hmmm...well, i haven been studying with Josh, Miko, Daniel, Yong Huey, Geksheng and Isaac for some days in this week..and i Thank you all for companying me to study. It makes studying a whol lot easier and fun. :)

My dearest babe, leroy has flown to distant Taiwan for army training..at 2 a.m in the morning. Can't stand these flights. At weird hours. Makes my day go haywire...anyway, i'm still sleepy though i did sleep
think i'm gonna sleep again soon. well, think i will go shower first lah. Anyway, baby! Jia You! Your letter and Kara will keep me company..thinking that other girls who have their partners in Singapore to jia you them..haha..ok lah maybe it is a good time for me to be focus and concentrate on my studies..(like i can't do it when you are around..) anyway, i'm sure time will fly. Wednesday, i went to study with Miko, Josh and Daniel till late..it was cold in the library which made us wanna eat steamboat for dinner. So the photos you have been seeing..yup. steamboat. the variety was not a lot but still not bad.

And it seems that our study has doubled in size!! haha..






Then we headed for yummilicious dessert. The only not so good thing is that the aunt is not really very hospitable...

You know what? I really am fortunate to have fun and good friends although work was a lot of work basically haha..But because of your friends, somehow, we just work really hard and have fun together at the same time. Yup! I really like this semester a lot cause i really like what i'm studying, and i have made good friends haha..in all my modules. And all my projects was fun too though lots of hard work..

Anyway on monday, thai tradtional music class was different this time..AND ISAAC!!! you missed it how could you!!! I have to collect your assignment for you know! haha pass you when i do see you. And presenting my third musketeer Shao Xiong..Anyway, the class was just to collect assignment, see our performance on that day and try out the thai food which is really yummy and sweet!!! hehe

After that was time for meeting for preparation for today's presentation!!! For Mr Bottle!!! The designs needed more editing which i had to do..we too had to settle settle our report which is a whooping...50 plus pages? Am i right? But it was definitely way thicker than other groups..made me feel more secure with attaining a higher grade..haha..and reprinting design samples..and the powerpoint..tough to explain w/o making people confuse and so we had to re arrange and stuff which basically took a lot of time..and ok..we only managed to end at 2a.m this morning? wow..we really spend a lot of time.
I knwo i was already going on auto mode..and our working speed were like slowing down..like Jun was having problems finding the attachment button..haha..and we didn't rehearse..It is amazing how the presentation went since we didn't rehearse.
SO by the time i reach home, it was already 2.50 something a.m..fast right?
So Thanks God for Joshua who happen to study until really late too in school because of his test today!!! And helped us buy BK burger..dinner yummy!!!! i really needed that. And driving Jun and I back home. If not haha..i have no idea how late it will be plus the cabbie fare..

Oh! reminded me..i made a decision to take a cab today cause i think the extra hour of sleep will really help a lot..haha..but well, i'mnot sure cause i had nightmare about the project of suddenly having a few more group members and stuff and our parts are not finish..anyway aside from that..the ride to school was 21 bucks plus!!!
FAINTZ..well, expected. No time to faint. Got strong and went to SOnja's roomie to continue doing whatever we have to do. Cutting the circle, painting the hand, going through my parts for presentation..

Oh and printing..the report, getting the brownies from Daniel--20 bucks! (where 7 out of 16 pieces got taken by Mr bottle and Dr Seet)(it was just suppose to be 4, 2 each!!!) Daniel's brownie is really nice. Dr Seet can't resist it, my friends all say is nice..haha..the 20 bucks is worth it in making people happy. Well, so basically, i only have 3 pieces. haha..

Unexpectedly, really, being especially tired, i really ran the most. From class to collect brownie and back to class, from class to printing area to pass thumbdrive..I was like the runner..My heart was beating so fast, climbing up and down the stairs..I really wonder how i did it! But just in case of an attack, after all the running, i took my inhaler..haha..cant afford to have an attack during preentation can i?
And then the connection to the computer didn't work..which is irritating, especially with Dr Seet telling us the girls to quickly start. IS NOT OUR FAULT!! Is the connection!!!!! So some hippcups with technology..IRRITATING..But we still went ahead with our presentation..i was like the third to present so reach my turn i was talking talking talking..quickly and I can't believe it was me talking..Words just came out of my mouth w/o much thought. haha..Is on automatic mode..

The good thing about our presentation is that we were not shot at with lots of questions, People like our presentation and the designs Like no questions were targetted at the designs phew. which is good cause i dont think i would know what to say haha..and of course BROWNIES! Thanks Daniel for making them haha. Oh By the way Dr Seet remembers you! And i'm sorry i forgot to tell him that you are making it if not i think he will order like 10 boxes for you! You will earn lots of profits from him..haha

Haiz, is a pity that we didn't manage to get a group photo together but we will meet up soon right!!! Icecream outing..haha..and probably working for Mr bottle.. Which brings me to another thing but.............................................................................................CENSORSHIP. Better not complain. He is your client. And i needa work to earn money for my mission trip.

Happy Birthday Jia Lin!!! Hope you enjoyed your surprise! We came at 730 know!! Thank God my house is so near..I really wonder how you all make it..near but still not as near as mine. Well.. yeah it was like the whole english service is celebrating for you. Kids, Youth and Adults.

I had to go to school for filming. Our very own short film "Untrue Accusation" adapted from the play Les Dangereuses Liaison..

Me, reading the script, memorising my lines which is not a lot phew! Oh and I had to wear this big and long uniform. The size was 44. haha..so after much pinning..thanks to Joie and Yong Huey..it look not bad just that it is long which yar my character should wear since she is a goodie 2 shoe..

My Saturday!

Finally..i feel like the time is mine for today..haha..for me to rest, blog and reflect and appreciate the stuffs i had done, people i spend time with. Also, today, i had band prac for tml service. It has been a long time since i have been serving in band especially. And now is like week after week..next week too cause Grace can't make it. Yup, it has been awhile since i felt charged up and i thank God for that. The sick era had thought me lots of things..to cherish every moment i have, to make full use of my time..and do my best. Also, I finally had family dinner. It has been a long time i realised..ok still missing cheryl cause she is at TP camp now..then we had shopping!! At shop and save..just like the old times when we were kids. Shop for snacks after dinner..Lesson learnt by my parents. Think i mentioned before. Cause when they shop before we eat, we would tend to buy a lot more snacks..but if after food, we wouldn't buy as much. Is a saving money strategy that proved useful..

And claris was like i want the dog!!is a stuff toy..but we had to have 15 stamps..and each stamp is only given when there is 15 bucks spent on a receipt. Today, we got 7 stickers so 8 more to go for her..

Then reach home..dad, claris and da jie went upstairs aftwr carrying all the stuffs into the kitchen..well, i dunno why but i think it is only good to help my mum out and put all the food and stuffs into its respective places and fold all th plastic bags into triangles..while my mum washed the cups..we seriously dont have a habit of cleaning stuffs by ourselves..too chong le when young with a maid to do all the chores..so now..yar..we only do it when really necessary..haha..ok tt's bad.

Anyhow, after that help claris paste paste for her muscleaches due to training for netball..paste at the back is reasonable but to paste at her stomach!! 1 is a weird spot to paste 2nd, is totally reachable for her but well, she just wanna be chong lah so chong loh..feels good when someone do something for you so i get it. I love to get chong too! haha..ok lah

There is never the perfect plan

Hey! I know i haven been blogging for a very very long time.Opps..but still, i have been doing things ever since the sick days..i now wanna live my life to the fullest. haha..ok bah..i cant remember much much lets start from last Tuesday.

I had school, wasnt feeling as up to stamina like now :) but still i went to school. I cant bear to stay at home any more. it was a little too much of a mental torture. Went to school, had class as usual..the only special thing for school wise was acting for the screen. Yup, we had to act for the screen but as William was busy with The West Wings, we decided to do it next week. Anyway, I really wasn't prepared. haha..yup. So, waited for Yong Huey to finish her acting with one of the scenes from My Besy Friend's Wedding. Yup. After that..we, Yong Huey, Daniel, Joie, Ryan and I went for dinner together. Well, you know as usual, Daniel will drive us there. So sweet right? And all of us back home. We went to Terminal 3 for dinner, walk around, chit chat and played with the trolley which is really the highlight of the day!!! hmm, but the videos and photos are with Ryan. Gonna get it then post it up for you all k!! Be patient!

Wednesday. Well, shucks. what did i do on wednesday? Oh ok project meeting. which never end. Actually i'm suppose to be doing it now. OH! better do now. later got meeting...okok update soon on the same post.

Updating....today is saturday the 12th of april. finally im rid of most of the project. Which is seriously tiring i must say but enojoyable. I have good team mates like Fen, Jun and Sonja. Show you their pic..soon..haha, if i remember..yesterday, we worked the whole day until the end we were a little slow in the brain..haha..got home and plong myself to sleep.

Thursday, Well, i spend the day on school and then we went for rehearsal for thai traditional music..and then had dinner. It feels so long ago..really needa refresh my memory.
Come Friday was the real thing!!!

Initially, i was partnering terrance, the guy behind josh and i but because there wasn't enough purple cloth to wrap us..we wore black pants and had to change partner. Debbie, the girl behind me was josh ex partner..But anyway, i got rehearse with Joshua before lah during the first few classes when we were partners. Looks like we were partners afterall..


Next up are the more professional Thai exchange students themselves. So pretty right? their clothes and stuff..




And the 'band'..traditional instruments still got electric one know..look at the wire connecting to the forth instrument from the right!!!!








And Aacaan Kung danced too!!! haha..well, basically, the whole performance right..we only did one song and the rest was done by the pros themselves and i just sat and enjoyed myself..haha..

Oh yar..Our performance was at NUS's Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music which is a building far away from the Arts Faculty..lucky..there were some drivers with cars..made it so much easier..
After that, we went for dinner..

Well, i had planned to go see leroy after the performance but he said it was too late le so no need..So i only managed to see him the next day, Saturday.
I had band prac before that and..haha i only knew on that day at about 10 when jislin sms me..asking if im coming down for prac..and i was like ok..then she said do you know that you are playing the keyboard and i was like WHAT!!
Anyhow, i reached church at 1030, the time when prac start and yup, all was good.

the only part that wasn't going well was my surprise chocolate for leroy. I had bought a Huge bar of Chocolate with the fireworks stuff inside, so it will explode in your mouth..and when i went to the fridge to get it..it was MISSING!! I haven found the culprit yet till today..my special chocolate and surprise.
So in the end, i had to rush down to Seng Kang where he lives, go to cold storage and buy another bar of chocolate..a normal, not so special one. which i didn't feel satisfied about it..My surprise is now some normal stuff..

Leroy had 2 weeks MC and thus will not be going for the Taiwan trip with his army mates..and he wasn't happy about it..why..hmm...cause..
He had his hand cut cause of pus which is totally gross..still remmeber the wound is wet and the bandage was wet and had to change at guardian..eww..i can't bear to look at it. I thought i was gonna puke. Poor Thing. Anyway, from that moment, i knew with conviction that i can't be some surgeon and doctor le..is..OMG. i just can't take it.

Sunday. OH sunday! okok..Church service..bible study..and then..i had to finish this Thai Traditional Music learning diary..What have I learnt. I wrote half way and fell asleep. I was too tired. Actually right now, i'm pretty exhausted due to datelines and stuff to finish. But I'm waiting for Tuesday..Yes it is coming. And i can have a real short break of like a day before i make the next charge..Sunday was just the essay thing lah..

Monday. I had Thai Traditional Music class which was totally fun! I kept laughing and laughing..until a point i think it is safer to take my inhaler..and isaac was like you better take..I want to go home one..refering to the past incident which landed me in NUH. And then i realise i had nothing to do from 4-8 when The West Wing starts..

The West Wing..Yong Huey wanted to watch so i was like ok lah..then suddenly Timo also want to watch cause of someone..his crush..nope. i dont think i would consider it as his crush. He seems really quite serious about her. Anyway this is like the first time i ever hear him talking about liking a girl!!! haha..so i was like ok i company you..but my friend coming too. Then monday, as i said i got nothing to do..ok i got something to do but i didn't bring my things because..i was like rushing to school and stuff..went to library and slack for awhile..and then Josh ended his class and too had nothing much to do..so i asked if he wanted to go and see The West Wing..yup. so in the end is Yong Huey, Timo, Josh and I go together..Tickets and seating problems wasn't much of an issue cause like really very very little people turn up to watch the production lah..Which is pretty sad..but good for us. We Bought the cheaper tickets and got upgraded since it was really empty..

The play was scene after scene after scene..like a mini performance each lah..i was thinking that it should have been more smooth flowing..but it was fun. Still could have been better..haha better not comment too much cause next year i will have to be in a play production too..ok nothing to comment le.

So what did i do from 4 to 7 plus at least..walk and talk lah..and TIMO was late!!! made us miss 2 scenes of the play..Naughty boy. Somemore your crush acting know..stil late. Haiyah..actually, he is late most of the time. Nothing new.

Ok Tuesday. i had to act for the screen. 10% for now. Practical exam, i really had to act..Ok..i was a little late for Dr Seet's Marketing class..saw 2 groups present..and fenling, Qi jun and Sonja and I were like man, we are like the most bonded group. And we must show this class how united we are haha..the other 2 groups were facing some group members issue. Well, i'm really lucky to have such good members in my group! We must aim for A! Oh yar! I got a ride from Joshua, send me to patricia house which is like a total maze. We were lost. Driving in cirlces. ther is one road call conway circle..something like that..and all the Li hwan and Tai Hwan drive, road, terrace all the similar names. But! We eventually made it there. Thursday was..Shucks what did i do on thursday? Class..i think. and more project stuff..Oh yar!! I stayed in school to do. Hmm..shucks..i'm a little blur..then when did i go have diner with my church friends..Oh! Wednesday was Dinner with Church Friends..haha ok
